Ad serving company ZEDO, Inc. announced the launch
of an Intromercial ad format for their publisher
clients.
Intromercial is a full-page ad that plays for
ten seconds before the users sees the front page
of a site. After the ad plays, it resolves to
a small corner banner on the next page.
"With increasing popularity of rich media, there
is a significant demand from customers to implement
new and innovative ad formats," says Roy de Souza,
chief executive officer, ZEDO.
ZEDO says that a survey of some clients showed
a 38 percent higher click-through for Intromercial
ads as opposed to normal banner ads. ZEDO's clients
include CNET Networks and Glispa and NextGame.
"The ZEDO Intromercial ad format is a simple,
repeatable format that sets a good standard for
advertisers. It's a format advertisers like, understand
and they are willing to pay well for," adds de
Souza. |
