ZEDO appoints Fox TV's Ben Cohen as Director of
Sales
Silicon Valley based ZEDO,
the leading ad server for New Internet websites
and the third largest ad serving company in the
world recently appointed Ben Cohen as Director
of Sales. Based in the San Francisco office, Ben
will be responsible for driving ZEDO's Ad Network
Sales.
Speaking on his appointment, Ben says, "I'm
excited about selling behavioral and retargeting
opportunities because they are the cutting edge
of web 2.0 advertising, and what better way to
do it than with a huge tech platform like ZEDO
backing you? Having sold traditional media for
years with television stations and later selling
their newly developed web inventory, behavioral
targeting is the next logical step for the Internet
and for my clients."
ZEDO focuses on behavioral and retargeting technology
to zero in on advertisers' target audiences across
web sites. ZEDO is the industry's only behavioral
specialist and the only network that sells just
behavioral impressions. Behavioral targeting allows
advertisers to communicate with their online consumers
in a highly personalized manner and achieve good
performance. It will become vital to any advertising
campaign, allowing marketers to segment and target
ad campaigns across many sites to just the users
that they need.
Prior to ZEDO, Ben worked at NBC Universal in
2001 for 5 years in San Francisco and was instrumental
in turning some of its key stations to profitability.
In 2006 as an Account Executive with Fox Stations
Sales Interactive, he has helped with the launch
and subsequent success and growth of the Fox TV
websites in the US .
On a personal level, Ben Cohen enjoys distance
running, sculpting, learning new languages and
reading. He is an avid reader of Tom Robbins'
books. Ben lives by Wayne Gretzky's famous quote
"You miss 100% of the shots you never take"
